Abstract

Higher education social responsibility is a hotly discussed issue at this time. This is because global warming, social rifts in society, and environmental damage are some of the factors that encourage universities to be socially responsible. This paper aims to find out the application of higher education social responsibility in the community. Sources of data obtained from books, laws and regulations and journal articles that have been published. Furthermore, in this case, social responsibility is a commitment from higher education institutions to participate in sustainable development by finding out related to CSR funds that can be used to support the mission of universities. Universities act as partners in the company's CSR implementation and as actors in social responsibility activities. As actors, social responsibility is addressed to internal and external parties. One of the implementations of social responsibility for external parties is through the realization of the third Tri-dharma, namely community service.
