Recitalizing Library Management As a Student Learning Center at SDN Gundik

SDN Gundik, located in Gundik Village, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency, is one of the public elementary schools that has been accredited A since 2015. Since its establishment in 1969, SDN Gundik has gradually produced an outstanding generation, thus making it a significant asset for Gundik Village. After a two-year vacuum due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the impacts are that library management has not been operated and students' interest in reading has declined. Through the ABCD method, based on the assets of the library and students, the library management revitalization program through literacy culture at SDN Gundik was feasible to implement. The results show that library operations have been reorganized and students can carry out literacy activities in the library with the books provided. Evaluation derived from questionnaires and direct statements from school staff members and students showed the success of the program in restoring post-pandemic educational activities at SDN Gundik. Furthermore, the literacy culture can collaborate with existing reading activities and make use of the library’s facilities. Evidently, follow-up efforts for library management were completely handed over to the head of the library, and literacy activities were completely handed over to the principal and teachers to make them sustainable
