Education on the Use of Safe and Ethical Smartphones through Da’wah Bil Hal and its Psychological Effects on Children

The use of smartphones has become a primary need today. Adults to children can easily use smartphones. This change brings a domino effect on the psychological development of children. Da'wah bil hal, through a mosque-based thematic activity program, aims to increase children's understanding of the safe and healthy use of smartphones for their psychological condition. Researchers hope that children can be wise in playing with smartphones according to their age and understand the impact on their psychology. The program of activities is carried out through focus group discussion methods, guidance, counseling, learning videos, and evaluation of activities. The target of this research is Madrasah An-Nahdiyah children who have smartphones. In da'wah bil hal, through this mosque-based thematic activity program, Madrasah children are enthusiastic, active, and willing to work together to implement the activity program. The impact of da'wah bil hal through this mosque-based thematic activity program is that children understand more about the dangers of excessive smartphone use and how to use safe and healthy smartphones for psychological conditions.
