The implementation of KKN or KPM which was initially carried out in groups in certain villages determined by the campus, was changed to a KKN program which was carried out based on individual students in their respective villages. This KKN implementation model was introduced under the name of Research-Based Service (PBP); which encourages the use of various action research methods carried out by students in identifying various problems that occur in the community, as well as establishing intervention programs that are carried out together with the community in the midst of the limited situation and lack of social mobility during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the learning outcomes obtained from the PBP model KPM report conducted by students show their adaptability to live with the community as well as their ability to apply their knowledge and skills from the lecture process to participate in finding solutions to problems they find in the community. However, this short duration program needs to think about its sustainability so that the campus continues to interact well with the community
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 AD Kusumaningtyashttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/2Building Islamic Religious College Penta helix Partnerships in Community Empowerment: Between Opportunities and Challenges: An Overview of Leadership Management2022-11-08T03:05:05+00:00AdnanAdnansubhi1971@gmail.com
Building a university partnership requires a Penta helix concept in realizing community empowerment. That is why collaboration between parties is important in achieving common goals by maximizing the Penta helix concept that involves multiple roles. Penta helix or multi-stakeholder is an element of collaboration that combines various parties, including the Academy, Business, Community, Government, and Media (ABCGM).For that, Building a Penta helix partnership will not materialize if the Chancellor, who is the highest leader of an Islamic university, does not have leadership management skills. The Chancellor's leadership role will determine the success of an Islamic educational institution
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Adnanhttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/3Village Development Planning Strategy Aware of Religious Harmony Through Sustainable Livelihood Approach2022-11-08T04:47:27+00:00Adnan Achiruddin Salehadnanachiruddinsaleh@iainpare.ac.idReni Andriyanireni@gmail.com
Social development planning innovations should be able to answer the needs of the community. These needs can be seen in both the problems and the potential of the community. Social development planning makes it possible to integrate other aspects such as economic and environmental aspects. This practice can be done using the Sustainable Livelihood Approach (SLA). The SLA approach shows the highest and lowest assets in the community. The development planning of Awareness of Harmony Village is maximized through planning stages that can present the needs of the community as a whole by photographing five assets, namely natural, human, social, physical, and economic. The practice of using SLA has been developed in the development planning of the Religious Harmony Awareness Village in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. It produces indicators and classifications of Religious Harmony Awareness Villages through a process of local community participation. The availability of these indicators and classifications will make it easier for the program to take measurements and can be used in other regions in Indonesia
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Adnan Achiruddin Saleh, Reni Andriyanihttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/4Internalization of The Values of Religious Moderation in Jathil Dance Culture in SDN 02 Tempuran Ponorogo2022-11-08T05:17:51+00:00Afif Syaiful MahmudinAfif@gmail.comAziz SihabudinAziz@gmail.comCindy Arista Dewaticindy@gmail.comMuhammad Bagus ArdiantoMuhammad@gmail.comSalsa Fitri Nurlailisalsa@gmail.com
Religious moderation is a middle way for culture and religion to work in harmony. Therefore, religious moderation is very appropriate to be applied in people's lives. Cultural preservation is also included in religious moderation which must be maintained so that it does not become extinct. The lack of a cultural platform in SDN 02 Tempuran is a problem in developing Ponorogo's cultural traditions. The Community Service Lecture seeks to conduct Jathil dance training activities for students of SDN 2 Tempuran which aims to increase the potential of students' interests and talents in preserving Ponorogo culture. The method used in this service activity is ABCD (Assessment Based Community-driven Development). This service activity consists of three stages, namely assessment, training and post-activity evaluation. So that the result of this jathil dance training is to increase the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of students who are very high, besides that they can apply the knowledge that has been taught during the jathil dance practice at SDN 02 Tempuran
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Afif Syaiful Mahmudin, Aziz Sihabudin, Cindy Arista Dewati, Muhammad Bagus Ardianto, Salsa Fitri Nurlailihttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/5Sekolah Etnografi Disabilitas as an Innovative Model of Community Service2022-11-08T13:08:19+00:00Agus Salim Chamidiagussalimcamidiok@gmail.comUmi Arifahumi@gmail.comSiti Fatimahsiti@gmail.com
The development of innovation in disability studies is still not much. LPPM IAINU Kebumen realizes its collaboration with Rumah Inklusif Kebumen through the activities of the Sekolah Etnografi Disabilitas (SED). The SED aims to build an innovative model for IAINU Kebumen students in approaching disability issues. This school uses an androgogic education model with the following steps: (a) students, field supervisors, together with resource persons learn to become part of the disability through talking activities with people with disabilities (b) through research groups, students reveal the results of their conversations with disabilities, and at the same time find things that will become follow-up plans, (c) students in groups prepare research proposals for service with the guidance of their supervisors, and carry out research, (d) students compile reports on research results in the form of collaborative articles. The results of this SED are very useful for building student empathy as well as producing scientific works, namely: (a) there are several collaborative articles by students and lecturers that have been published successfully in journals and proceedings, (b) a student volunteer organization was formed named Balabi (Barisan Relawan Bahasa Isyarat). This SED can be a model of community service innovation to foster student enthusiasm and culture to research disability
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Agus Salim Chamidi, Umi Arifah, Siti Fatimahhttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/6The Development of Bioethanol from Iles-Iles Tubers Using Hydrolyzed Fermentation Method for Alternative Fuels2022-11-08T13:16:57+00:00Agus SulistiawanAgus.dmc354@gmail.comDenny Nurdiansyahdenny.nur@unugiri.ac.id
Along with the increasing usage of fuel oil (BBM), namely gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel, as a result, sources of fuel oil began to decrease. This condition urges the discovery of alternative energy that is converting iles-iles tubers containing ethanol for alternative fuels, which are very possible to be developed and important to be observed. Iles-iles tubers (Amorphophallus muelleri) are plants that live in tropical and subtropical areas including Indonesia, one of which is in Bojonegoro area. Experimental research in the laboratory was carried out in two stages, those are hydrolysis and fermentation. The aim of the study was to obtain better ethanol content of iles-iles tubers by hydrolysis of distillation fermentation, by varying the ratio of sulfuric acid in 7 ratios 4:1, 5:1, 6:1, 7:1, 8:1, 9:1, and 10:1. The volume / weight (v / w) of the dried iles-iles tubers were crushed and sieved. The iles-iles powder was hydrolyzed using H2SO4. From the results of bioethanol characteristic test on iles-iles tubers as an alternative fuel development, the most optimal obtained after the hydrolysis process is a sample ratio of 5:1, which had the characteristics of a total sugar content 6.72%, fermentation with 9 grams of yeast in each sample in 6 days’ fermentation and distillation process. Bioethanol made from iles-iles tubers has good potential to be developed because the quality of the bioethanol produced reaches 62% in the initial distillation, has a density value of 0.8107 gr/ml in accordance with the bioethanol quality standard, which is 0.8215 gr/ml at a ratio of 5:1 of the raw material which has a viscosity value of 1.0780 cP, and has a calorific value of 2.121 Kcal/kg bioethanol quality standard and a flash point value of 7.0 0C
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Agus Sulistiawan, Denny Nurdiansyahhttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/7Observing Islamic Education related to Radicalism at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Walisongo Indonesia2022-11-08T13:31:38+00:00Ahmad Ismailahmadismail@walisongo.ac.id
Based on a survey, 17.8% of Indonesian students in university are vulnerable to radicalism. This finding is consistent with several acts of terror in Indonesia carried out by students. This fact shows the importance of preventive-proactive efforts to counter radicalism among students. Through it all, the Directorate General of Islamic Education mandates to teach subjects of religious moderation Ma’had Al-Jami’ah or University Islamic Boarding Schools. There are 48 universities with Ma’had al-Jamiah, including UIN Walisongo, one of the oldest Ma’had al-Jamiah, founded in 1995. This fact led the researchers’ attention to deal with the vision, curriculum, and teaching practices at Ma’had al-Jamiah UIN Walisongo are related to radicalism. This study will demonstrate data based on qualitative investigations conducted at Ma’had al-Jamiah UIN Walisongo. Finally, this paper argues that Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Walisongo had a vision of realizing Islamic-based education Raḥmatan lil ‘Ālamin, which is actualized in deradicalization training in every two weeks. In addition, Islam Raḥmatan lil ‘Ālamin is also a spirit for other subjects, such as foreign languages and Islamic insights, wich is implemented to counter radicalism among students, considering that radicalism will continue to grow and evolve in Indonesia
2022-11-08T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2022 Ahmad Ismailhttp://icon-uce.com/index.php/icon-uce/article/view/8Al-Quran Reading Training Using the Tartil Method in Improving Students' Reading Ability at MI Faser Panglungan2022-11-08T13:37:44+00:00Ahmad Wildan Fauziahmad@gmail.comDella Nur Fadlillahdella@gmail.comDita Erlin Enjelinadita@gmail.comFrantika Ajulia Dewi ParwatiFrantika@gmail.comLutfhi RatnasariLutfhi@gmail.comAgus Miftakus SururAgus@gmail.com
The purpose of this study is to increase students' insight and experience in reading the Qur'an and to motivate students to be more diligent in reading the Qur'an in elementary schools.
