Strengthening Financial Literacy for Youth Community and Organisation Throughout Pati Regency

Recently individuals often have difficulty managing their financial expenses. Especially at a young age, they haven’t advanced in understanding finance following the increasing personal consumption expenditure. Even though young age is an opportunity to find identity and not be afraid to try new things. This phenomenon also creates problems for millennials, for example, many young people are deceived by fake investment offers. The development of digital technology has also changed the lifestyle of young people who currently prefer to do consumptive activities when compared to investing. Awareness and intelligence to invest are needed as a provision to face life in the future. For this reason, this service is intended to provide an understanding to youth on how to make good and correct investments. We partner with PT. BPRS Artha Mas Abadi performs service with an educative approach through smart investment education training for the youth community in Pati Regency which includes students, as well as youth from Karang Taruna, Ansor, IPNU-IPPNU in Pati Regency. The result of this service is the awareness and intelligence of youth financial investment in Pati Regency. In addition, it produces an outcome in the form of youth investment in youth savings at BPRS Artha Mas Abadi. And 40 youths decided to invest through youth savings to prepare for a better future.
